Anyone used this in earnest? Comments would be appreciated.
I've had a quick look at it, and would be keen to use it if it's
practical day-to-day, but I've got concerns about its ease of use and
the maximum number of appointments / tasks that can be entered, for
instance.
TIA,
Stu C

Easy to use if you happen to use Outlook and XTND Connect PC (the latter
comes on the CD-ROM supplied with your T39m or can be downloaded from
SonyEricsson's website). Just enter your tasks and appointments in Outlook
and sync them with your phone. The maximum number of entries (tasks and
appointments) is approx. 250 but it needs to be noted that recurring events
in Outlook aren't supported by the T39, i.e. the phone transforms one
recurring event in OL into multiple single events in the phone, which is a
bit of a bummer when editing or deleting entries in the phone's calendar.
It definitely isn't a substitute for a decent PDA. So if you need to manage
multiple appointments, huge task lists and addresses etc., forget the T39
for that and get yourself a Palm or something in that class.
HTH.
Kind regards,
Olaf

Re: T39's Calendar / Task Manager -- any good?
well, i did indeed replace my palm pilot with a T39m 18 months ago.
i decided to pair the t39 with a small entry level ThinkPad, rather than
spend the money to get a P800 at the time.
well, i currently use a T610 and the herementioned laptop, but i don't think
i will be bale to hold off on a P900 when they come out.
