My P800 crashes approx 2 times per day (only since turning Bluetooth on). My
service provider is supplying a recon replacement (hopefully with the latest
software installed). The problem is that I backed up the whole thing last
night & did a total reset expecting the replacement today. called them when
nothing arrived and they don't have any available & no estimate when one
will be available. Now I cant restore from the backup. it gets as far as
restarting the phone, checking the backup file then stops! Is this a known
problem or is my phone dying? Also after synchronising with outlook I have
my contacts back but in Surname, First name order! and no groups on my
appointments!
Arghh, serves me right for putting so much trust in the backup I suppose.

Re: P800 Restore
Hi Jon,
I have also started experiencing all sorts of problems when using teh P800
Bluetooth with the HBH-30 headset. It fails to activate the phone via voice
commands and invariably causes the phone to crash. I've had my P800 for
around 2 months but this only started a couple of weeks ago.
To try and work out what was wrong I went back to my T39 phone and the
headset worked perfectly with that, as did the Bluetooth card for my latop.
However, I can't get either to work correctly with the P800. When I get an
hour spare I will be visiting my local Orange dealer and asking them to sort
it out.
Regards
AC

Re: P800 Restore
I have not tried the voice command's yet. Managed to get the restore to work
by upgrading to the latest sony ericsson pc suite. Finally got the
replacement p800 with later firmware so time will tell if its any better.
