It seems this phone has virtually anyone would need (and more) to move from
the T68 (flashed to T68i).
I believe it is Tri-Band; has bluetooth; GPRS and HSData; IRLink; Camera;
MP3 player; PDA; MMS etc
What's missing in your opinion please?
thanks

Re: P900 what's missing?
it's the same size as a small house - T68i is not? T610 seems a far more
sensible upgrade to me.....

Re: P900 what's missing?
Not if you need true PDA features. Beats the days of carrying my Psion 5 and
an T29 around.

Palm OS.
I'll stick with my T68i/Tungsten T3. It's a great combo, and I don't
need to worry about using my PDA and draining my cell's battery life, or
vice versa.

Don't really know Palm, but Symbian seems pretty good to me. I can't believe
how fast it is compared with a T68/i. And as to the P900 (well, in my case
P800) being large - it is, but very light. And the reason I bought it is
because I realised I couldn't realistically carry both phone and PDA all the
time, but a P900 is completely practical and is good at both functions.

Re: P900 what's missing?
Have a look at Sendo X, this phones has better memory function SD & MMC The
phone has more on board memory as well. The only thing you can't do is
write on the screen.

Hi Stew
What do you mean by "Better memory function"?
Cheers

Yeah, but don't you miss...
- High-speed touch-typing
- Really productive and/or useful programs (Route Planner, Street Planner,
Collins Dictionaries, SMSMan)
- Birthdays & Loud alarms
- Ability to embed any object (Word, Sheet, Agenda, Data) within any object,
to any depth
- One crash every six months
- Affordable storage
- If the battery dies, being able to use the ones from your walkman / camera
/ etc. ?
The P800 is way slower and more clunky! It's only the connectivity and
smaller size that really endears it to us Psion owners... :-)

Re: P900 what's missing?
What's missing is EDGE (enhanced data rates for GSM evolution) , the new
High-speed standard (see http://www.nokia.com/cda1/0,1080,42856,00.html or
http://www.sonyericsson.com/uk/spg.jsp?page=C4.7&B=). There are already
phones on the market that will support EDGE. But not the P900.
