Sending messeages from T610 to T68i

I have a Sony Ericsson T610
I know someone in Turkey I send sms messages to.
She has a old none color nokia phone.
I am thinking about getting her a T68i color phone.
I no I can not send pictures to her but could I sent like smiley faces.
Could I send her anything in color.

You can send her photos - just not as good quality display as T610 (actual
picture quality is ok, but the T68i has lower resolution then t610)...
You could also send to her email address, if she has one
