Hope someone can give me some information regarding getting my Bluetooth
    connectio working properly.

I have a MSI BToes Bluetooth USB Dongle, which I have attached to my
WinXP(Pro) laptop ... the usual "new hardware" came up, which I cancelled
and installed the software from the CD (provided with the Dongle).
Everything has (seemingly) installed without any problems.

The instructions call for me to explore "My Bluetooth Places" and with the
phone set to "find me", view the list of devices within range. A couple of
bleeps and a shared PIN number I have the phone paired with the laptop.

When I double click the link to my phone I see the following items listed
and what happens when I double-click them:

-- Dial-up networking Gateway on MyMoto :: looks like it would work, but I
haven't gone right through connection as it's a service I don't really need
    at the moment)

-- OBEX file transfer on MyMoto :: Opens and then closes and FTP connection
before displaying one of those "something's wrong, do you want to report it"
    dialogs.

-- OBEX object push on MyMoto :: Tells me that it's exchanging business
cards then reports "The business card could not be received. Error: the
request could not be honoured". I also changed the properties to always use
the selected card (which I chose). This worked better, but my phone said
that the card was corrupt. For reference, I have Outlook 2003.

-- Voice Gateway on MyMoto :: Attempts to connect ... and voila, I does
    connect.

What I am trying to acheive is:

-- The ability to manage my phone's address book (in sync with my contacts
    in Outlook)

-- Transfer pictures to/from my phone

-- Transfer ringtones (midi and mp3) to my phone.

When I was reading around for this, I did see "Motorola Mobile Phone Tools"
mentioned, but couldn't see it anywhere to download. I previously had a
Nokia which had a phone suite that could basically do everything from my PC
as if it were the phone, except make calls ... which is kind of what I am
    expecting from this.

Any and all advice is welcome.

    Regards

You can get it from www.motclub.com. It's a Spanish website. Click
"programmas" and you'll find the software. You MUST first d/l and
install version 1.23c, then d/l and install the 2.16 version. As an
upgrade file, it won't install unless it sees version 1.23c on your pc.
As you install 2.16 it will automatically d/l updates and upgrade you to
version 2.20 which is what you need.
