If I upload an mp4 video to my phone it plays well but without sound.
I was quite pleased with the way I could get an mpg from my digital camera and set it up
to play full width on my V550's 176 width screen. Using mPT to convert it to a 176 width
mpeg4 instead of to a 3gp where mPT seems to force a default 128 width.
Any ideas as to how I get sound? (I hear sound when I play the mp4 on my PC)
I have been going:
Digital Camera mpg to avi in Virtual Dub then avi to mp4 in MPT
Pat.
(I am wondering if I should buy mPT or not - hence all the questions!)

Re: No sound on mp4 videos?
The audio has to be coded as AMR for it to play on the phone.

Re: No sound on mp4 videos?
Can I somehow change the audio stream to AMR ( It seems to be "mp4a" while the 3gps
produced are "samr")
I am presuming that mPT sets it to mp4a irrespective of the avi interleaving used so I
would need to re-encode mPT's mp4 output.
I am a little out of my depth here...
Pat.
