V262 & ringtone Help

Greetings,
I've got a V262 and some ringtones on a CD. Can somebody Please point
me in the right direction or tell me how or if I can copy the
ringtones to my. I have MPT and have not been able to connect to
phone. I'm not even sure if MPT is what I need to transfer ringtones
to phone.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I've been spinning my wheels
the last few nights.

I have a v180 (non camera version of v220). So I might be off a little.

MPT IS a way to transfer ringtones to/from your Motorola phone.
If yours isn't the 4/2005 version (or later) then run the live update
to get all the patches. As I understand the phone-mod-boards, the usb
driver from MPT is needed for ANY of the other programs you could use
to work (I just used p2kman to transfer 20 ringtones to a friends phone
(same model as mine))
