How do I put ringtone wich I bought as my ringtone on motorola V300?

Hello!
I was trying several times to set ringtone wich somebody sent to me or wich
I bought on my Internet,as my ringing tone,but it doesn t work..I can set
some melody as ringing tone but it doesn t seem to work..How can I solve my
problem,please answer if you can?..

Unless your carrier has blocked the feature, you should be able to
scroll tot he tone, press menu and select "Apply as ringtone"

And if the carrier has blocked the feature it can generally be unlocked
with a SEEM edit, is that true?

I have a Razr V3 with a similar issue - but in my case the 'set as
ringtone' option isn't even there for the uploaded sound clip. I can
play it just fine, just not set it as ringtone.

Haven't found the time to research the SEEM edits, but word is they
will open up a lot of that stuff...
