Hello, I bought an old cell phone at a yard sale and was wondering if it
meets requirements for service? It has 2 stickers under the battery, one
    says:
    Motorola Inc.
    Canada: 109 182 110C
    Model:76067CAFSA
    MSN:674GVR LO95

Next Sticker has 2 Bar Codes and the numbering of:
    SUF1225N 325B2B/21GNLM
    D41F5905

    The Bottom half of the phone flips down for the speaker and has lettering;
MOTOROLA Digital Personal communicator. I can't find any of the numbers on
Motorola's web site so I am guessing that it is old.

    Any Insight would be helpful
    Bob

No. That is a $5 give away phone from the mid or late 90's and it's
analog only. Even here in Baton Rouge BellSouth has either totally
discontinued the analoge system, or soon will. Pity, nothing comes
close to the service range of my old brick phone, or as the techs
called it, the cell phone from hell.

    Re: Old Cell phone

So it is analog! I already have a digital nokia in service, and here in NB
Canada we have digital and analog towers, so I guess it would be safe to
say, I would in all likelihood be able to activate the flip phone on my
current plan. The reason for the inquiry is make sure my service provider
Rogers doesn't give me any story about compatibility problems when I
activate it. I think it would be a cheap addition and two phones.

    thanks for the input!
