I recently got a PDA with Bluetooth (HP IPAQ 2210), I have a cable to
connect my Motorola v60 phone to the PDA to connect to the Internet, but
think that using Bluetooth to connect the phone to the PDA would be a lot
more convenient. They don't have to point at each other as in infrared. Just
as long as the phone is somewhere in the vicinity and turned on, the PDA
could connect to the Internet through it.

Does TM have any Bluetooth phones yet? Anyone know what models will be
    coming out, and when?

Anyone know of an adapter I could connect to my v60 to enable Bluetooth
connection for it? (Please don't mention one of those adapters that come
with some Bluetooth headsets. Those connect to the phone's headset jack, and
only enable use of a Bluetooth headset with the phone, that kind of adapter
would not enable the phone to connect to the PDA.)

I'm not far behind you. Just as soon as I can scrape the money together,
    I'll be replacing my 3850 with a 2210.

TM has the T610 which has bluetooth, but from everything I've read, the RF
performance just sucks unless you're right next to a tower.

I'm considering buying the T616 ($300) and using that on TM. Reports are
that it has better reception than the T610 on 1900 Mhz.

I have a T610 and live in the Milwaukee area. While the reception is at
good as what I had with my SPCS/Samsung A400, it's not that bad. What I
do notice is that while the device is totally stationary, the antennae
    indicator will fluctuate wildly.
The T610, as with the P800, also have a jack for an external antennae.
I assume it's meant more for antennas mounted on cars, there may be a
smaller one that could be attached.
