I asked in my local VZW store tonight (RI) - they said no (YMMV) - I hope
someone does post when they get the new software, whenever that may be.

Some people say the battery doesn't last long. I find it gets me through the
day (or even 2), I just throw it on the charger before I go to bed, or even
in the car.
There is also the FORGet it now app the phone has that doesn't work/not
supported. If you aren't going to use it, take it off and give us a feature
that does.

The problem is with Verizon's implementation of PTT, not with the
phone's firmware. I'm not on a PTT plan, and I get almost a week on
the battery.
