Service Cntr Questions

I currently don't have the Nextel Service & Repair insurance but I'm
looking at purchasing it. Now, does that only cover phones I purchased
through Nextel or would that prefer to phones I've bought from auctions
also for personal use? I have a Nextel i95 I bought from an auction w/ a
broken flip...since I don't have the insurance nextel's website says it'd
be $50/phone to fix..but since I didn't purchase it through Nextel would
that make a difference or can I just go to a service center & pay the $50?
