phone number moving.

Hello all,

Is it possible to take my landline ( verizon ) number and move it to a
cellular Nextel phone?

Or do I have to keep the landline number active with no actual phone and
have it "master" forwarded to my Nextel phone,

long reason why just need to know if possible.

You can port your Verizon landline number to Nextel... be patient though...
it will take a few weeks
