i830 and i860 release dates

Though I grow more frustrated with Nextel every day, I still am hanging
on. Any idea of exactly when the i830 and i860 will be offered? Some of
my contracts are up and switching looks better every day.

Thanks so much Stevie! I called Nextel today for a quote on 3 i730's and
they quoted $119 with two year contracts and $199 each for two year
contracts. As much as I want a camera phone, if I stay with Nextel, I
think that I will hold out for the i830, hopefully in May!

any new updates here? guy at the nextel store today said a new phone was expected by the end of may... he didn't know which one though. waiting to buy a phone so trying to get as much info as possible.

i830 = May 17th

Those are mostly pre-orders. May 17th according to Nextel Rep. However
I've had conflicting information from other reps. One said it was going to
be end of August, but I believe he confused the i830 with the i860.
