If you change you're plan, do automatically renew you're contract? Verizon
does this and the CS guy on the phone never mentioned it.

It depends on the rate plan. If you are six months into a plan with a 2
year agreement and change to a plan with a 1 year agreement, you do not
renew your agreement, you ride it out. If you are on a 1 year agreement and
change to a plan with a 2 year, you pick up a new agreement. The only time
you renew your agreement is if the new rate plan has the same terms as the
one it is replacing.
