Nextel's Consensus Plan Generating Little Static From Public Safety
    Officials
November 3, 2003 - With concern and debate over the growing problem of
wireless network interference in the 800 MHz spectrum band at an
unprecedented high, public safety officials say a solution can't come
quickly enough. Interference has reached record levels this year, with 51
individual public safety agencies reporting interference at 117 unique
locations through April 30, according to the Web site of public safety
    professionals group Project Consensus.

Where's the proof? I will take that as a false statment unless I have
proof. Basically, Grant is basically posting these to anger Nextel Users.

Here is the link to the white paper sent to the FCC from the
Association of Public Safety Communications Officers (APCO) supporting
    the NEXTEL Consensus Plan:
    http://apcointl.org/frequency/projec...y_080703pm.pdf

IMHO the solution can't come fast enough either as I manage a PS 800
MHz Radio System and have had occurances of interference. NEXTEL did
end up fixing the issues after a few months of midnight to 3 AM site
    work.
