Nokia N-Gage Bluetooth Connection

I'm trying to upload a 3.5 mb file using Bluetooth to my N-Gage but as soon
as the upload reaches 1mb it says 'Out of memory'. Is there a way of
uploading direct to the memory card using Bluetooth or if I use the drag and
drop method to the memory card how would I get the file/ game to work?

I transfered large files on the MMC by using Nokia PC Suite. It will copy
the PC's file directlly into the location of the target
directory/memory-card instead of using some intermediary mechanism
(bluetooth transfers on my Nokia3650 are treated as messages).

Yep, though when I drag it into the MMC I can seem to find/ play/ that game.
I have no problems with the mp3s as the RealPlayer picks it up
automatically.
Okay, so imagine if I drag a game onto my MMC - where do I drag it to
(anywhere?) and how would I start playing it?

If it is a game, it depends (this is all based on a Nokia3650):

It the file ends in *.SIS, then you need to install the game. Nokia PC Suite
does this automatically. Make bluetooth work first. Then double-click your
*.SIS file (your game) and Nokia PC Suite will automatically install the
application/game for you on your phone. You can not just copy it onto MMC
and have it work right away.

If the file ends in *.JAR, then you need to install this file too. On my
Nokia3650 I only got that to work by sending the *.JAR to my phone. A
message in my Inbox appears, and opening it will install the game. Since
*.JAR file have size-limitations, they can never be really big (waaaaaayyyy
less than 1Mbyte.).

If you have a crack from Blizzard, *.BLZ file, install the Blizzard
installer first. Then copy the *.BLZ file to the root directory of your MMC
card (E:\ directory) and run the Blizzard installer. It will see the *.BLZ
file and install the game.

Otherwise: Get a MultiMediaCard reader for your computer and use that to
transfer files (not that *.JAR and *.SIS files still need to be properly
installed, not just copied).

Thank you Anton I appreciate the explanation very much. I know the N-Gage is
build on the 3650 engine so this should work fine mostly.

I have tried using bluetooth, that does not work for me...Neither does the PCsuite5 that came with my n-gage. I was told by a friend to try Oxygen manager to transfer larger files.

I have always used the drag and drop method to my MMC, to get things to work correctly, just make sure that you put the files in the right folders etc.

After i have dragged and dropped files to my n-gage MMC i use a program, similar to 'Windows explorer', to install programs.

See my thread to download the file.
