hi
i've been meaning to ask; it's hardly of any significance, but what does the
little black dot that persists on my 6600 mean? it's in the same place as
the message envelope notification sits and message outbox icon, in the top
(ish) right hand side of the main screen. it's on constantly...

Re: 6600 dot icon
As a side-note, it's recommended that you deactivate it if you don't use it
(Connectivity > Bluetooth in the menu) as it will significantly decrease
your battery life if it's left on.

Re: 6600 dot icon
make a voice command for it as a nice quick way to toggle its status, if you
actually use bluetooth ..
I find I use it often enough to want to toggle it regularly, but not often
enough to warant setting one of the 2 shortcut buttons from the standby
screen to do it ..
If you have a . with () around it, it means you have an active bluetooth
connection, just for reference ..
and yes, it does make a noticible difference to battery life ..

Re: 6600 dot icon
No extra app is required - in one of the menus (Tools I think, or is it
Extras?) a voice command application is available.
