    Let us know how you find the screen as it looks a little on the small side
    to me, but it won't put me off if the reviews are rave.

    This could be the start of a long buglist thread . . . .

    Well,

    basically I love it.

    It's much easier to use than my 6600. The four way button gives access to
    the main items I need

    Left = new text message
    right = calendar
    up = camera
    down = contacts

    There's also two other hotkeys, one of which gives you quick access to a
    list of other items that you set yourself.

    The screen whilst smaller than the 6600 at 128 x 128 is very clear and as I
    didn't use the full functionality of the 6600, I don't have a problem with
    the small screen.

    The ringtones are louder than the 6600, I used to constantly miss calls as I
    never heard it ring. The sounds from the radio (using the supplied radio
    headset) is crystal clear as is the MP3 player sound, even when using the
    loudspeaker (although a quiet room is really needed for this).

    The menu is a fairly clear (icon versus text) but this is something that I
    have always found nokia to be good at.

    now for the gripes

    1) caller groups..there aren't any. This is a software issue and will be
    fixed in the later versions. any attempt to access the caller groups just
    boots you out to the main screen. Can't believe this escaped QA!!!

    2) bluetooth..I used my 6600 to access my email/web via my ipaq 2210. Due to
    the possibility of "blue-jacking", nokia has slightly changed the way it
    authenticates pairing, Which means that it wont work with the iPAQ 22xx or
    19xx. Not a major issue for a number of people I suspect, but it is for me.

    Generally, I'm very happy with the phone..just need to sort out the caller
    groups and the bluetooth.

    Can you elaborate on this? I recently got the 6820 as I gave up
    waiting for the 6230 and didn't notice any difference in the pairing
    with either my PC or Toshiba BT PDA.

    to fix up the caller group just reset the factory settings that should fix it
