Nokia 3200 Radio problem - Bugs?

Hi

I purchased 2 nokia 3200s last week from cpw. One one of them theres a
bug on the radio. When you manually tune to a station it works fine,
but if you save the station in memory the sound cuts out every 5
seconds. And if you save 2 or more staions in menory the phone skips
through each of them continuously. When i try to press Options the
phone freezes up. Very annoying! My wifes phone ( the other one ) is
ok and has no such problems. Both have software version a3.12.

Any advice?

I'd take the dodgy one back in, mate. I got my 3200 from CPW two weeks ago,
software version 3.12, and no such problems. The only real 'bug' I've found
in the radio is the auto tuning picks up very few stations, but I manually
tune them fine. I have 15 stations tuned in and all work great. What headset
are you using? Sounds to me like the headset button could be responsible for
skipping to and from stations.
