Has anybody been able to use a 6600 with putty? I have installed the
application, and everytime I am trying to launch it (using either t-zones,
or T-Mobile Internet) the application shows a 'Connecting to network ..."
progress bar, going no further that that. I have checked the services
themselves (t-zones and T-Mobile internet) and they work fine ...

    TIA,
    Papi

Yeah, I've used it successfully, via Orange. Didn't have to do
    anything special.

I did have a similar problem the first day, I remember.
    "Connecting to network", then nothing.
I explicitly locked putty to Vodafone Live! and then it worked.
But that was the next morning, I remember that I wasn't sure if it was my change
that fixed it, or just that the GPRS-service was unavailable the previous day.
It has worked like a charm since then, though.
Midnight Commander works, although it gets a little messy.
gl_spy in glftpd works too, unless you try to check details on an online user's
    session, then it core dumps.
