My wife has a new Nokia 3200 phone. Using IrDA on my Linux box, I can
copy ringtones, pictures, etc. to and from the phone, but not Java
midlets. On my Sony Ericsson T616, all I have to do is use ircp just
like for ringtones and pictures. When I send a .jar file to the Nokia,
however, it says it is an unknown filetype. Is this some scheme to
force me to use the $0.03/KB GPRS connection, or am I just missing
something? It would seem the Nokia software for Windows can do this,
so why can't I do it with Linux?
