Any one know if the lame ducks over at Nokia has found a way to make the
Nokia USB data cable actually work with XP yet?

I refuse to waste one more second with the flimsy piece of trash until I
know one is released that actually works.

See More: Bi-Annual Check to see if it works....

hmmmm..... I have a cable that connects to my USB port and my 6200/6280 and it
    works just fine.

Be a bit more difinitive in what phone you are talking about, maybe you will
    get a different answer.

The cable for my Nokia 3510i works just fine on my windows 98 and xp
machines, but then again it is not a genuine Nokia cable, but if this cable
works I can't see why a genuine Nokia cable wouldn't work in the same
    fashion.

I refused to cough up AUD$150 for their crappy cable when I could buy a USB
IRDA dongle for $39 with more generic usefulness.
