A new menu item (number 13) has suddenly appeared on my 6210. It's called Net Monitor. Anyone have any idea what it's all about? The User Guide says Menu item 13 is SIM specific, but it's there whether I have my Vodafone or my O2 SIM in the handset.

    Cheers

    "Suddenly"? Played with Logamanager?

It's used to get information about network details (where you are logged
in, signal strength, using banned sites, etc.) and some internal data
(battery voltage, PIN counters, etc.). There are several manuals available
    on the net.

The SIM specific menu comes before netmonitor. If 13 is the SIM menu on
your phone, Netmonitor will be menu 14. If no SIM menu exists on your
SIM, menu 13 will not show up and the menu goes directly from 12 to 14.

I'd be interested to know how NetMonitor "suddenly appeared" on your
phone..! It can only be specifically enabled by connecting it to a PC
running the appropriate software. Have you been using Logomanager..? That
will do it, amongst others, but you have to specifically enable it, it
    doesn't happen by itself..!

Be *very* careful when using NetMonitor, most of it is fairly harmless and
just gives information (if you know how to interpret it) but one or two
options can cause problems if you don't know what you're doing.

If you want to remove NetMonitor from the phone menu, select it and enter
241 as the item to test. It will then disappear until you re-enable it via
the PC again (or until it "suddenly" appears..!)
