Non original dku 5 cable and nokia`s own managersoftware problems

It seems, that you've bought ProLific (not DKU-5) cable. You can download
the latest drivers for ProLific cable here:

http://tech.prolific.com.tw/visitor/v_fileBrw.asp -> Smart I/O IC -> USB
1.1 -> PL-2303 USB to Serial bridge -> Browse files -> Go

ProLific cables won't function with Nokia PC Suite. You can connect your
phone only using Oxygen Phone Manager II ( http://www.opm-2.com/ ). Just set
corresponding virtual COM port in 'Tools' -> 'Options' -> 'Connection and
common' in our program and set its type as 'DLR-3/DLR-3p'

Does this help? Can you connect the phone now?

Who can be sure what type of cable i did exaxtly buy. The cabel is labeled
dku-5 , box is labeled dku-5 and software bundled is also dku-5 cable
software. But does it work , nope . The dude selling me the cable says I`m
the only one that doesn get this cable to work. He has sold according to
himself 50 cables. The cable is registred as a TUSB 3410-Boot device when i
put it in. Will check the ProFilic driver to se whats happening.
