Hi All, My N-Gage QD crashed sometime back. It had the same WSOD(
White Screen of Death) problem, common to all 6000 series phone. I
turn it on, see the white screen with 'Nokia' logo for a few secs, and
then the phone turns off. I think Symbian is too unstable OS!!
Anyways, I took my phone to a Nokia service station( in Brussels,
Belgium) to get it reflashed. Now I bought the phone in India, so the
guy at the repair center told me after one day that his 'computer' was
not accepting the connection, coz the phone was not of european
origin!!
===>My query is, is this possible??!!
I mean what difference wud it make if the phone were bought in India
or any place else, it just needs a reflash. How could it be that the
phone is being prevented from getting reflashed! Was there something
unknown to the technician at this repair center? If that is the case,
is it worth I go and try at some other repair center here in brussels?
Thanks in advance,
Cheers,
Mukul.

If you check the manual regarding warranty you will see it states what
country the warranty is valid for your phone and they can tell from
the IMEI which country your phone was made for....
