Nokia Ngage problem

Hi all

I'm normally a contributor to the Car Audio section, but I have a problem
with my sons Nokia ngage.

When switching on it starts with the nokia logo and white screen for a few
seconds and then goes to black and white still with the nokia logo. It then
goes off and on like that for a while before eventually off altogether.

When pluging the charger in it just comes up with the black and white nokia
screen and again flashes on and off a few times before going off completely.
I have tested the battery which is good and the charger is putting 3.5 v
into the battery. I think it may be a firmware problem, but any help
appreciated.

your ngage has WSOD (white screen of death), a well known problem and one
nokia wont admit

only known cure is a trip to the nokia service centre for re-flashing,
hopefully ur still under warranty so it costs nokia and not u

I had the same problem after having the unit only 3 days. Had to send
it back
Tmobile no longer carries the ngage qd and I had to go through nokia.
Im not happy
