Can someone please explain what this is? Life Timer indicates 00005:50 and
this is possibly referring to the life expectancy or life determined by
    programmed code?

It indicates the amount of time used making or receiving calls.

From when to when would be my next question as this phone is several years
    old.

    Thanks.

It's the number of hours/minutes used since the phone was made.

If yours is only reading 5 hours and 50 minutes you're either a very light
user or the timer has been reset. This timer cannot be reset by the user,
it can only be done by a Nokia Service Centre, maybe after some repair
    work..?

It must have somehow been reset for sure but this phone has been in my
possession and used daily since I purchased it way back when.

It may not have been, the timer can loop if enough usage is detected.
Having said that, I've only ever seen one handset where it had looped, and
that was an old one as well.

That all makes sence. Thanks for an excellent explanation.
