Hello,
I buy me a 512 MMc memorycard for using it with Route 66 mobile 2005 on my
Nokia 6600....
The first time i put Route 66 with my desktop pc on the memorycard, there
was everything 100 % OK, Route 66 was running well with the bluetooth gps
receiver.
But, the 512 Mb. is big enough to put some more country's on it, so there i
go, i put spain on it, and then came the problems !!!
The 6600 can't read the memorycard anymore, i get message: MEMORYCARD DAMAGE
Somebody tells me that this is correct ?????
He said, it's written in the manual !!!!!
I look it up, and he was right !!!!!!
Is there a posibility to put Route 66 on a (new) memorycard while it is IN
the 6600 ????
Thanks for reading (and answer(s)).

Try using Window's disk checker by putting the MMC card into a card
reader and selecting its properties in My Computer

Re: 6600 memory card problems
Hello Marc,
I have put the Route 66 on the MMc card with a cradreader on my desktop !!!
The shop where i buy the MMc card said: "the Nokia 6600 can only read a 256
MMc card, we check at the Nokia-helpdesk"
I find this a strange answer, i called the Nokia center in the city near
mine, and they tell me: "a 512 Mb. MMc-card is no problem"
Who do i have to believe now ???????
Greetings Ronald (NL).
