Is it possible to get an Alltel 6255i to run Java apps? I've
downloaded the PC Suite and tried installing a couple, but I don't see
any way to find them in the interface.

Yes! You can play your games, the sneaky bastards at alltell removed the link
to the applications folder in hopes of thwarting people from installing
anything other than the 'pay 100$ per minute apps' that alltell specializes in.
(Anyone else notice that the way the network providers cripple thier phones and
make you pay extra for features already on YOUR phone? Thats terrorism isn't
it?) You can get to your newly installed apps by using the GOTO shortcut in the
upper left of the screen. It lists all folders, even folders alltell tries to
hide from you. Someone had mentioned that using the goto shortcut, you can copy
it back into the main area and have your link back like it was normally. I
haven't crossed this bridge yet, so I can't help you with it.
