Presumably you are charged for the firmware update in the UK?
Anyone know how much it is?

    Cheers

If the phone is under warranty, and you can demonstrate that it's buggy (not
    always necessary) then it's FOC.

No, Club Nokia Service Points. It's a good idea to check what level service
centre they are first as some cannot flash handsets on the premises.
Another good bit of advice would be to NOT let Carphone Warehouse do it even
if they do have official service centres.

Why not let the CPWH do it?

Because they're generally clueless. If you get really lucky it'll come back
working, but probably with an older or the same firmware version as when you
    took it in.
