When I try to retrieve my emails using my 6230i I get RECORD STORE FULL on the screen. I've NO messages in my INBOX, OUTBOX or any of the other folders! An ideas?

yes. I meant emails. Sorry if I wasn't clear....I'm not a total tard!

I've deleted ALL my emails and still get that message. I've reinstalled my settings...still no joy. I've spoken to Orange and they've never even heard of the problem. I Googled it and there were a few mentions on some Nokia forums....none of them coming up with any solutions. A lot of them said the problem just went away. Well. mine hasn't!

    :-(

    Cleared the cache?

How about a Factory Reset?? (should be in the menu somewhere).

A pain in the proverbials, but that MAY do the trick.

Failing that, what about upgrading the software. Again, a Pain in the.. but that may sort it out. NOT something that should need to be done, but no other suggestions.

I have only had something "similar" once or twice, but after I cleared the mail inbox, then no problems.

Sorry couldn't be of much help.

    What software your running "Ade"?

Latest version on the 6230i is 3.60 (only recently released)

Would it not be worth upgrading to that, just for the hell of it.

Again it may not be the solution to your current problem, but it may resolve your issues.

Maybe someone else will come back to you with a resolve??

    Good Luck

Just my twopence worth but might be worth taking the battery out for a few minutes. My cordless base station often plays up after mains interuptions and that cures what presumably are memory corruptions somewhere.

I'd hazard a guess that the sdram chip ( not the standard flash chip) is
kaput. Can you access your ringtones, both factory and custom?
If not, or not always, take it in pronto to an authorised repair center,
providing its under warranty, as the chip is most likely glued, and the
    phone will need replacing.
