I have some wallpaper that I like to use but the Cingular log shows up in
the middle of all of them.

How do I get rid of the logo?

I'm on the cheap plan with no web access on the phone so going to a site to
download some software or alternate *.gif file into it isn't an option.

However, if someone has a way that I could do it from the laptop and do it
via IR or Bluetooth that would work.

Cool. This is what worked for me on the 6230:

    1. Press Menu
    2. Scroll to "Web"
    3. Choose "Go To Address"
    4. Enter: http://www.jhonny.org/wap/kuvat/blank.nol
    5. You will get 'Operator Logo Received' (Took about 2 seconds once I
pressed Send. Took longer to type it all in.).
    6. Press Show
    7. Press Save

The Operator Logo was lock or grayed out. It now works as the downloaded
logo is there. Turning Operator Logo ON makes the Cingular logo go away.

All the programs Oxygen and Mobile Phone Manager didn't work or were
cumbersome to figure out since the Operator Logo was locked via Cingular.
The download to the phone did the trick.

    Thanks!
