    Hi,

I have got a Nokia 3100 with an USB cable. I want to suppress the games
(bowling, beach race and snake) in oder to gain some memory, but I would
    like to restore them later.

Can I save the games on my PC? I tried Nokia PC suite, but I did not
    manage to do anything.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Dave,

If you've the JAR files of those games, then you could install those
    games after wards.

Being the stock games pre-loaded into the phone you may find they are in
ROM, so even if you can delete them it will not create more room on the
    phone that you can use.

I do not have JAR files of those games which were provided with the phone.

How do I know if the games of my 3100 are in ROM or in Flash ? The
memory information tells that I have:

    Free memory: 471ko
    Applications: 5ko
    Games: 136ko

I did not try to delete any game because I am afraid I will lose them.
(but I also wish to install an english-french dictionary)

    Cheers

They're not held in the ROM, but are installed initially by flashing the CNT
pack to the handset. Usually you are prevented from copying them, but some
third-party apps (I know MobiMB used to be able to do it) can back them up.
If the OP gets really stuck, I can extract them from the CNT and mail them.

Thank you for your answer. I will try MobiMB.
