Hi there,
does PC Suite has a freperance for USB2 connection between my 9300i and
PC Suite.
I can synchronise between my Phone and PC at home (which has USB2) and
not between my Laptop and Phone at work. The only difference being that
my Laptop only has USB1.
When I want to synchronice, I get a message that says that PC Suite
does not support my phone.
BUT, I can transfer files between my PC and phone without any problems.
I trust someone will be able to confirm this for me.
Regards,
Deon

Is the PC Suite version the same on both computers?

Re: USB 1 or USB 2 for PC Suite?
Yes,
thank you. They are both 6.6.18
I have even un-installed it twice and re-installed again. Is there
anything else I can try?
Just something interesting ...
My dad has exactly the same phone and the same PC Suite. When I put my
phone in his caddy, it synchronises 100%.
This lets me think the problem is with my USB1 of this old Laptop.

Try an update?
Latest version is 6.81.13.0
Had problems in stability of more earlier version.

Keep in mind PC Suite is not a fast application in communication.
Maybe USB1 even more slow.

Re: USB 1 or USB 2 for PC Suite?
Hi again,
I have checked on my Laptop for previous versions of PC Suite. And
there it was ... some connection settings of a previous version did not
un-install completely.
I removed these and all other NOKIA software with XP's Add/Remove and
re-installed PC Suite.
And then everything worked perfectly well. Thanx very much for all the
support. I'm busy downloading the latest version of PC suite.

Deon
