    Dear All,

I currently have a Nokia 6010, signed up with T-Mobile on their
pre-paid service. My phone is in the final stages of it's life. Is
there a cost effective and easy way to transfer my contacts to the Mac?

    Cheers.

Am I right that this phone does not have a pop-port PC connector, no BT or
IR? I'm afraid that the simplest way to transfer contacts is to use the SIM
card. If you want them on the MAC, I guess you would need another phone that
supports PC connectivity but even there you may have problems as PCSuite
does not run on a MAC(?).

If it is sufficient to have transfer your contacts to a new phone, then it
should be relatively straightforward with the SIM card.

I have not used a 6010 but according to Nokia it is a GSM phone and then
does have a SIM card (you yourself told it has a SIM card). I've never heard
of any phone implementation that would not allow using the SIM phone book
(although many use the phone directory as a default and primary phone book).

One may have personally chosen to use the phone memory but it still should
be possible to copy entries to the SIM for further transfer. Did not go and
look at the phone manual how exactly this should be done. Are you really
    claiming this is not possible?
