    I have looked in the book several times, maybe I am missing it but is there
    a reset on the outside of the phone? or is removing the battery the only
    soft reset?

    ALSO .. how would I do a HARD reset?

    My phone arrived at Nokia yesterday. I don't know how fast it will get back
    here. I am not counting on having it before the weekend. It would never
    stop with the freezing up or shutting down. I always had to open the
    battery door, take out and put it back in, to use it after a shut down or
    lock up .. Nokia said send it to them. I had a August version of the
    firmware, I asked that they update it before sending it back to me if there
    was a more current update. I still can't get over the 10 BUSINESS DAY turn
    around from repair .. AWFUL and UNACCEPTABLE ..

    PS .. When I called Tech Support I was talking to AMERICA !!!

    PS .. replying to myself from my home computer .. I get this email from
    Nokia [after complaining about the 10 business days for repair] that it is
    more than unacceptable .. I think I am going to look for another phone, NOT
    NOKIA and sell mine as new, as it will be new, when I get it back. They
    write back as say, " By the way, the 10 business days does NOT include
    shipping time ... " Is it me? OR do they suck ??? I am in Florida. I
    tried to find a shop to repair it. Would you believe that there aren't any
    shops in Central Florida that can repair a N93 ... So I said, well .. how
    about I drive down to Miami .. you MUST have a repair facility in Miami or
    Ft Lauderdale or SOMEWHERE in South Florida. NOPE .. NOTHING ...
