My version of Camino was not the most recent - just updated. And...

It is closer to being right than is Firefox 3 beta, but it is not quite
    "there" yet either.

Umm....Wrong, bubba. You don't appear to know much about VoIP. DSL has a
typical upstream of 640-800Kbps. That means THREE simultaneous calls in
progress are probably the most you'll want to have at any given time.
    Audio traffic IS VERY INTENSIVE.

Cell towers allow automatic hand off form cell to cell. Why? How?
Because each particular cellular company has the infrastructure to
preform automatic and seamless hand offs. Do you really expect that
tyupe of cooperative effort from a rag tag collection of home user
access points across any significant area? No.

Distributed....Oh, another nebulous word for something that you don't
know anything about. You keep tossing this word out, but fail to define
it. My question still stands...How is this massive back haul going to be
    implemented.

I've dealt with client cell phones for years and all their quirks, poor
sync software and horrible screens. Blackberries, Nokia, Samsung and all
the rest. That's what makes me an expert of how bad they are. I had an
Verizon Mot Phone for a couple years, but when it was clear the iPhone
project was going forward, I dropped it and went right to using my
PowerBook for wireless. Works well to this day, but the iPhone is
    smaller.

We'll see what happens in San Francisco on Jan 15th, if the rumored 1/2
inch thin 12" MacBook Pro appears, I'll sell off the PowerBook (what i'm
typing on right now) and move up to the super thin model.

    Life is grand!

Hey Oxford, kudos to you in developing such a fan base in these groups.
I'm amazed that so many spend a great deal of time flaming - you even
taking time configuring their newsreaders with Oxford variation
    derogatory names.
    Amazing.

Nice that you've taken the high road with all this.

I would stay out non-relevant groups, but often hard to differentiate
with all the cross postings. Even still, they love to respond.
