nokia pc suite and bluetooth

I wonder if anyone can help me. I have read there are issues with pc suite
and bluetooth, but I think I am just doing it all wrong.

I have a nokia 3650 and I have some apps I want to put on it. I brought a
Belkin Bluetooth USB Adaptor to make things easier, I installed the Belkin
and then PC suite, I even got them to connect as one stage but it kept
saying the My Bluetooth Places that the Bluetooth Serial connection failed.
and that the remote device closed the connection. Then I noticed that it had
connected, but pc suite wouldnt let me open it it said that I had to connect
them , I uninstalled and then reinstalled PC suite several times, but I am
still having the same problems.

What am I doing wrong ?

and has anyone got step by step instructions ?
