I recently unlocked my Nokia 7210 to allow me to use my own (o2) and my
works (vodafone) sim card in the phone, now comes the problem I want to
upgrade the software on the phone but my local Nokia Service Centre says
they won't touch it unless the original sim/sp locks are present. I've got
the original 7 unlock codes is there one of these that will allow me to lock
the phone again! or is there any other way of locking the phone back to O2.

Suggest you contact Club Nokia as this is not the general procedure.
At my local Service Centre - Fonefix in York - they will look at any
phone under warranty and if the phone was originally locked then it
will be re-locked after repair unless you state it has been unlocked.

Sounds like a load of crap to me, I took a 3330 to my local Nokia Service
Centre for repair, it was bought SIM-free and was well out of warranty.
They tried to flash the firmware, failed, and sent it back to Nokia, who
also couldn't do anything with it, and they ended up replacing the whole
phone FOC apart from a fiver for post and packing.

    Try another SC.
