Hi all,
I've noticed that when a GSM mobile phone is ringing , the transmitter and
the mic are enabled while the phone is ringing. For example, call your
mobile from another phone , put your mobile near a radio , so you can hear
the noise from your phone transmitter (this periodic noise) and while the
phone is ringing speak close to the mobiles phone microphone(the noise is
getting more solid).
That means that your voice is transmitted BEFORE answer your call. This also
means that the network can hear you even if you dont answer the call.
Anybody has investigate further this concept?
Fortis.

With GSMs, you voice communications are encrypted so you wouldn't be
able to hear them with a simple radio.
