Hello,
I have a friend with an AT&T Nokia 6360 and he's giving his phone
away, but I use a different carrier (T-Mobile). I know I need to
unlock the phone, but I'm not sure how to do that. I downloaded the
free key generator from unlocksmith.com, and I see the instructions.
The part I'm worried about is entering the generated codes. It says I
use the # for the # symbol and the * for the P, W, and + sign, is that
correct?
I'm also kinda freaked out when it says on the instructions that I
only have 5 tries to get it right. What happens after the 5th try?
Do I get locked out? Does the phone explode? (jk) Also, what's all
this about Griffin codes and new eight-digit operators?
Also, it says use codes 1 or/followed by code 5 or code 7. Which one
should I do? I need help!
Thanks!
J

you need code 1 for the usa, remove the sim card before entering the code
and the worse that can happen is that after 5 tries you need to buy a cable
to unlock the phone
you keep hitting the * key to get the extra symbols...
only try a code one if code 1 try code 7...then stop and reply to this post
and I will point you in the right direction

It doesn't matter anyway since the 6360 is a TDMA phone and all the
unlock steps listed won't matter anyway. Part of what you need for
unlock is the IMEI number. TDMA phones dont' have an IMEI.
