Just i question, one friend of mine has a Nokia 7650 wich his x-girlfriend
used when they where together, she has changed the securitycode on the
phone, taken her SIM card and left... now 3 months later he was going to use
the phone and when he starts up the phone and enters the pin code, it asks
for the security code.
He contacted his x-girlfriend, but she does not remember the code, and she
has got a new number with new sim card.
I have a datacable (USB) wich i use on my 6610, is it possible to use this
cable to read or reset the phone back to factory settings`using this cable?
Cable is Nokia DKU-5 USB.
He hopes to get the code opened again..
any ideas anyone?
Best Reg.
Freddy.

Re: Nokia 7250 read security code.
If you take it to a club nokia repair centre with proof of purchase and ID
they may reset the codes for you.
It may cost a small charge.

The security code is made of 5 numbers. Don't try more than 10 false codes
or your phone will be locked and you'll have to pay a fee for unlocking.

Re: Nokia 7250 read security code.
Be smart, tell the Nokia Service Center to upgrade the phone to latest sw,
it will unlock and at the same time you get the newest sw for free.

Are you sure. the last time I had my 6610 flashed (by a service
centre) they asked me for the security code after flashing to show me
it working !

Re: Nokia 7250 read security code.
try this, might work, might not
press the old "*3001#12345#"
go to security
first thing you should see is the unlock code.
power off and on and try the code.

Dont listen to Mediatype. 3001 12345 code only works on CDMA handsets like
5190 etc. The 7250(i or no i) is a GSM handset, hence the code will do
nothing.
