First off, my 3390 is sufficient except for the extremely annoying behavior of
it hanging up incoming calls because the "C" key tends to get pressed on the
way out of my pocket. I'd say 50% of my calls get hung up because of this. I
feel like Indiana Jones trying to remove the crystal skull every time I get a
    phone call.

So I'm investigating new phones. I am loyal to Nokia because I love their
software and features. The 3600 looks swell but it has to have the worst
keypad design I've ever seen. The 6800 looks better but is missing the
camera, which I'd like in a new phone. I don't want the headset camera.

Suggestions? Anything in the pipeline I should be aware of?

to prevent unwanted key presses, press menu then star to lock the keypad-i
dont know if this works on all of nokia's phones, but it works on the two
    that i have experienced

I beleive the red button still works when receiving an incoming call
and the keypad is locked though.

Doesn't work, as the 'C' button is active when the phone is ringing,
even if the keypad is locked. You probably know, but it is so you can
    reject the call.

    Back to your original question.

I would recommend the 6600 or if you can wait a while, the 7600.
