    Hi,

    I am trying to connect a Nokia 6310 to my Linux PC via a DAU-9P cable (ttyS0)
    and it appears that the phone does not support AT commands via the cable.

    It all works fine using IRDA, the phone responds as expected to AT commands.

    I have confrimed that the serial port works fine, as I have tested it with other
    phones and devices.

    I am now at the point where I believe it is either the type of cable, or the
    phone itself speaks "nokia" via a cable connection (gnokii works, but not with
    model = AT)

    can anyone confirm this for me.

    thanks in advance.

    josh

    The 6310 uses the DLR3 cable.
