Hi all, I am haveing some problems with a USB data cable I purchased
recently. I am running windows 98. I installed the driver, and it seems to
be working ok, a USB serial port or something has been installed, and
apparently is COM3. So, I installed the nokia 7650 data suite, and the
mrouter software just sits there sand says connecting. If I open the data
suite I get a message saying please plug your phone in and press ok, if I do
this, it just hangs. Any suggestions? I tried to install the cable on my
win2k system and gave up, but I noticed that in mrouter on win2k it
described the COM3 connection as "cable" but in win98 it says "unknown"??
Any help to get the cable working on either system would be much
    appreciated, thanks in advance

    Re: 7650 usb data cable?

    Alex,

The 7650 doesn't have any physical connectors for USB or any other type of
cable. The only way it can communicate is via BlueTooth or InfraRed. Suggest
you get a BlueTooth dongle that'll plug into a USB port on your PC, or an
    InfraRed adapter for your PC.
