8310 & IrDA

Hi,

I bought a IrDA Bridge to allow me to back up the address details on my
8310. I've installed Nokia Suite V4.81 but the connection dosn't seem to
work, I',m getting a message from teh PC (running XP) saying :
1) teh 8310 is nearby, then
2)the connection is blocked.

The Nokia Suite identifies the phone, but doesn't seem to permit
communication. Any one else had this problem? Any clues on making the damn
thing work?

That message sometimes means that the IrDa signal quality is poor or
intermittant. Ensure that the phone is around 6-12" from the IrDa receiver
and there are no fluorescent lights or other Infra-red sources nearby.
