Wonder if anyone has a problem with the earpiece volume on the 3650.?

Have mine set to the highest possible, but it's basically Cr*p!! Hardly hear
    it in a noisy environment.

Does anyone else find this, or maybe I have a defective speaker??

    Through an earpiece, it's fine.

    Would appreciate any feedback.

    Thanks

(before the comment is made, my hearing IS okay!! :-)) )

I'm afraid your eyes aren't though, else maybe you would have spotted all
the other posts complaining about 3650 audio levels. yes they are low, but
unless it's ridiculously low, there is no problem. If you really don't think
it's good enough, then get it checked out by nokia, it should be still under
    warranty.

    Now then Martin, Steady!!!!

I did have a look through, but never actually saw any other posts with
    regard to this. :-(
All depends on what ones interpretation of "rediculously low" is. If I
didn't think it was that bad, I would not have posted, don't you think?

Previous handsets (6310i, 6210, 6110, even the sturdy 5110) had earpiece
volume that was quite acceptable, and would even need to be turned down, yet
the 3650 only seems "half volume" compared to those others. When using a
handsfree, the volume is a lot better, but I prefer to not wear a handsfree
    ALL the time.

    Thanks for your response though.

    Cheers

it was meant to be funny :-) sorry if you took it the wrong way.

It seems every new handset is quieter. maybe we were just expecting more for
such a huge thing compared to the smaller phones. I normally use my phone in
the quiet of my own home, so it's not too big a thing for me, anywhere else
I normally have a headset. But it is clearly quieter. maybe it's nokia's
    idea of reducing battery consumption.

well, considering the very poor battery life of the 3650, it wouldnt be
surprising for the volume to be softer eh? ;-)
