I don't know but I'm on my second one and it still doesn't work
properly. It keeps cutting off! Grrrr!

Go to your local SprintpPCS store and demand a different phone. No reason to
accept a problem phone.

My wife and I both purchased a VGA-1000 and the problem we both are
experiencing is you can be in the middle of doing something, i.e. entering
data into the address book, entering a message, etc... and it will reset
to the default screen as if you just flipped open the phone. Very
annoying.

Yep!! Mine kept doing the exact same thing!!
I returned it and went to Cingular. Not just for the A620 problems,
but for other reasons as well.
