Anyone using readylink that can compare it to when they were with nextel? Interested to see how the walkie talkie function for sprint works?

Slightly faster than verizon, still way slower than Nextel. Might be
good for families, not good in a commercial or emergency situation.

There's a bit more lag (of course) that Nextel, but it's quite usable
and not really noticeable with normal use. Considering that the sound
quality is a LOT better than Nextel, I'll gladly sacrifice a second or
two in lag to having to deal with Direct Connect.

When I tried it the total lag was 1 second. Considering that round
trip wireless to landline is about 1/2 second, this means the added
lag due to Ready Link was 1/2 second.
The TechTalk video review of it was posted on this newsgroup within
the last three weeks, and said that it was just as fast as Nextel.

Everyone else in the free worlkd gets times of 5 seconds with SprintPCS
equipment.
